If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll know by now that I’m a gadget fanatic. I’m drawn to new gadgets the minute I find out about them. One of the things I like the most is the Nintendo Wii my wife Patricia gave me for our 3rd anniversary, back in May.

I like the physical activity that many of the games provide and because of the way players interact with games, it’s something we can play together as a family.

One of the latest games I’ve bought is Order Up! The first thing that called up my attention was the main story behind the game: cooking!. Since I love cooking, especially exotic food, this game unites two of my greatest passions, so it captured my right after starting the first game. Players advance in the game by preparing increasingly complex dishes, from burgers and fries to world-class, chef dishes.

Thanks to the Wiimote’s motion-sensing technology, this game is very realistic, as players are faced with the challenge of handling knives, mixing spoons and a lot more of kitchenware.

If you’d like a taste of this amazing game (play on words absolutely intentional) you can watch the Order Up! Trailer on YouTube, so that you see what the game is all about before you buy it (you will buy it, trust me on this).
