My wife Patricia is a certified movie addict. Since the first day I met her, any free time goes to watching DVDs, movies in theatre or movie channels on TV. Recently, she has turned to watching movies on my laptop as nephew (who’s spending a few days with us) has been taking over our living room flat TV. That should give you an idea of how addicted to movies she is.
You can just imagine the pile of unorganized DVDs that are scattered in our home. As I was finding ways to organize her DVD movie collection one again, I stumbled upon this software called “All My Movies”. In its simplest form, it is a DVD organizer created for those are tired of collecting DVDs, CDs and more. Downloadable and easy to install. It makes your collection of movies be in a more ordered way, as we know where each movie is, what’s about, even who’s in it! It’s also easy to navigate (great for when you’re in a rush to find that special movie). It downloads all the information from the internet movie database (IMDB)
You can check on their screenshots to how simple to use this DVD catalog is. All My Movies does not only store the titles and category but a full record of the film which includes of course the title, director, year of release, actors, genre, a bit of a description and even the type of storage media you have it on (DVD, AVI file, VHS, etc…). With all this information, I can browse the movie collection, find something I like (or find what my wife is talking about when she mentions a movie….) and go right to where it is stored. How’s that for simplicity?
