I’ve been a user (and a fan) of PhotoAcute software from quite a bit of time now. Since the guys at PhotoAcute have released Version 2.8 of PhotoAcute Studio, their Super Resolution based application for enhancing digital images, I decided to make a personal PhotoAcute Studio review of their newest release.
For those who aren’t familiar with the software, their Super Resolution technology is designed to process sets of photographs taken in continuous mode to produce high-resolution, low-noise pictures. It increases image resolution, removes noise without losing image details, corrects image geometry and chromatic aberrations and expands the dynamic range. PhotoAcute Studio improves the quality of photographs taken with digital cameras and camera phones. It increases resolution, reduces noise, removes chromatic aberrations, corrects brightness of overexposed and underexposed parts of the picture.
Most modern digital cameras and some camera phones maintenance the so-called “continuous shooting” or “burst” mode. PhotoAcute Studio Internet is an solution primarily developed for processing sets of digital photographs taken in “continuous mode” to create high-resolution, low-noise pictures. You will get amazing picture quality improvement without changing your camera.
Image resolution increase beyond camera capabilities. Using sophisticated algorithms, PhotoAcute Studio produces single high-resolution picture from a sequence of photos. Unlike the digital zooming and pic sharpening, resultant pics do really have higher spatial resolution. Little, thin and far away objects, traceries, textures and inscriptions become recognizable.
Main features:
- Color fringing amendment.
- Fixing handshaking artifacts in low light conditions.
- Larger picture with super-resolution more pixels in the pic.
- Strong noise reduction without losing the information.
- Removal of unneeded moving objects from the scene.
- The information in underexposed and overexposed parts of an pic become visible.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pentium-III or Athlon-XP or better processor with SSE support
- 512 MB RAM (more strongly recommended)
