I have only the bare minimum as far as home security systems is concerned. But I had a moment just recently that got me thinking about the subject. My wife Patricia and I were just starting to fall asleep when we were disturbed by a noise. I was less awake than she was when it started and she was actually a bit frightened. I ran out of the bedroom and into the hall. Fortunately, it wasn’t a burglar, it was our dog trying to open the door.

Still, I think we might rest easier if we had a few additional security features on our new home, when we finally move there. Simple, effective and not too expensive.
